The Bible commands self examination.

"Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?" (2 Cor. 13:5).

There are many passages that instruct us how to test our spiritual condition. The book of 1 John quickly comes to mind. But there are other soul-examination tests that are less explicitly stated, but no less Scripturally warranted. Enter the book of Hebrews.

The book of Hebrews is one unbroken meditation on the superiority of Jesus Christ. It takes roughly an hour to read aloud at a conversational pace.
